MIRANDA SHELIA, the girlfriend of Russia star Fedor Smolov, has been slammed for posting pictures with her £10,000 handbag whilst her other half was losing 3-0 to Wales at Euro 2016.

Sizzling Miranda, fiancee of Russia forward Smolov, 24, came to the French capital city of Paris on the eve of Russia’s game against Wales, which took place in Toulouse on Monday night.

But it seems the dark-haired beauty had other things on her mind than football, posting a snap of herself in front of the Eiffel Tower with an iconic Hermes Kelly bag that costs around 1 million RUB (£10,000).

The stunning model also shared a picture enjoying breakfast at the Four Seasons, one of the city’s most expensive hotels.

The poorly-timed images she uploaded during Russia’s woeful Euro 2016 campaign provoked angry responses from some of her 318,000 Instagram followers.

One user commented: “Jeez, spending so much money on a simple bag for nothing. She would have been better off helping children in need.”

Whilst some chose instead to criticise the Russian footballers, with one user writing: “Russian football players can hardy play, or hardly pick a decent chick. There is nothing to expect from them.”

She was born in Georgia, then moved to Oxford for her studies, before moving back to Russia.

Smolov’s Russia have now been knocked out of Euro 2016 in France, after losing two of their three matches.
