Portugal fans celebrated at the final whistle in Lisbon and Paris on Sunday (10th July) after watching their country defeat France to win the 2016 UEFA European Championship

This was how Portuguese fans in Lisbon celebrated their countries first international honour.

Portugal beat hosts France 1-0 in a tense final on Sunday (11th July) to win Euro 2016.

Substitute Eder was the unlikely hero, scoring the winner in extra time, after Cristiano Ronaldo had been stretchered off with injury.

Safe to say the fans in Lisbon were proud of their team:
