France midfielder Blaise Matuidi spoke on Friday (8th July) the day after his side's 2-0 win over Germany in Marseille secured the hosts a place in the final of Euro 2016.

"We knew we had to suffer. We knew that Germany is a very good team technically, tactically. As I said, they are the reigning world champions. There is a lot of talent in this team. We knew too we could hurt them and it's what we did sometimes. We were solid, we fought for one another."
