Euro 2016 President Jacques Lambert told a news conference that he wants authorities to collaborate in order to prevent the kind of "hooligans groups" that marred the opening days of the tournament from repeating itself ahead of the tournament in 2020.

"What is the most worrying part I think is the second phenomena we saw. Which is the apparition of hooligans groups, who were not so numerous actually, but very organised, and disseminating extremists ideologies, that were really identified and nationalist. and with clams that have nothing to do with football."

"What seems to be sure for the future, and in particular by thinking of Euro 2020, is that preventing efforts and sharing information between sports authorities, political authorities that are in the UEFA, must be increased to try to, as possible, before the tournaments, to really analyse risks and act in consequences, by taking preventive measures."
