Fans greeted France's Euro 2016 squad as they arrived at their base in Clairefontaine on Friday (8th July), the day after their 2-0 semi-final win over Germany.

After a night of euphoria and celebration French fans took to the streets outside the national team's training base to await the arrival of Didier Deschamps and his players.

Spirits remained high among the french faithful after the Euro 2016 hosts defeated Germany 2-0 to at the Stade Velodrome on Thursday night, to reach Sunday's final at the Stade France where they will play Portugal.

The tournament's top scorer, Antoine Griezmann, scored both goals as France secured their first victory over Germany in a major tournament since 1958.

Les Bleus arrived at their team base in Clairefontaine on Friday having travelled up from Marseille.
