Reaction from Iceland managers Lars Lagerback and Heimir Hallgrimsson after they beat England 2-1 to reach European Championship quarter-finals on Monday.

"I think we have been improving slowly and in my opinion I think this was our best game. Both defensively we didn't have so many problems with the English, and with the ball we created a lot of chances so I think it was our best game yet. But I think, I will say it once more, we have still not shown what we can do so hopefully our best game is yet to come."

"We created goalscoring chances so we deserved the win. For me football is about winning, football is about not letting in goals and creating as many chances as possible and scoring goals and I think this team has shown what it can do, the players are absolutely great."

"If you want the best out of life you have to be ready when the opportunity comes. This is a fact. And these boys they were ready today, and this opportunity that was put in our hands was huge. Some say Icelanders are too optimistic, we don't think we can fail, but we are realistic and we have a game plan that we think we can use against teams."
