Hungary manager Bernd Storck described his sides 3-3 draw with Portugal on Wednesday (22nd June) as "a big compliment."

"No. Why would I be surprised with the result? I was convinced that my team (could do it) I believed in my team from the beginning. I knew that we could give a good performance but I have to admit that we had changed five players (for the game) and some players unfortunately couldn't play. I replaced several players who had a yellow card and I have always said that I have 23 players level and everyone can replace anyone and this team performance was exceptional."

Also, I think maybe you don't know this, we played some very high level opponents in the preparation time before the Euros and the team (has) developed from game to game, especially now in the Euros we have developed more and we are very happy that we had a good improvement also in this game against Portugal."
