2016-06-21 00:58:00 from:SNTVSweden players Seb Larsson, Oscar Hiljemark, Marcus Berg and Ludwig Augustinsson spoke on Monday (20th June) ahead of their crucial match against Belgium on Wednesday (22nd June). SOUNDBITE: (English) Sebastian Larsson, Sweden midfielder
(on all the criticism that the team has received):
"If you pay football at the highest level, it's nothing new. We're used to it. We haven't won a game yet so we take the criticism and we move on. But within the group, we know what we're capable of. We're up against a tough challenge, it's as simple as that. Belgium is an extremely good team but, you know, we know if we do it, play really really well, we've got a chance of winning the game."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Oscar Hiljemark, Sweden's midfielder
(on a good approach to defeating against Belgium):
"It's a good team, it's a world class team. Definitely players who play on the biggest stage in the world, so it's hard to not say that it's going to be a tough game. But as I said before, we're going try to get it down to a lower tempo, try to make them stop moving so much and then get them in the spaces that we want them to be in. It's going to be hard but definitely not impossible."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Marcus Berg, Forward for Sweden's national football team
(on what has been learnt from the video research on Belgium):
"I don't know if I should tell you that. But no I mean, we are looking at details of course. I think we know that Belgium is a top team in Europe and it will be a difficult game but we really believe in ourselves and that we will have chances against them. And hopefully, if we do the same work defensively, we will have chances to win the game. Because we have quality up front also, even if maybe you don't think we showed it the last game but we know that we can score. And hopefully, we will have the three points."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ludwig Augustinsson, Sweden defender
(On opponents Belgium):
"It's a very good team. They're very good with the ball as well it has players on every position so it's a very good team individually and as a team they also play very good. It's going to be a tough match."
