Sweden trained on Thursday (June 16th) on the eve of their crucial Group E match against Italy at Euro 2016.

SOUNDBITE (Swedish): Erik Hamren, Sweden coach:

"We're playing Italy, a team that has certainly impressed me. We have scouted them thouroughly, perhaps they don't have the big stars that they used to, but they have a really strong team nonetheless. Really organised, very good defensively and just as good offensively. They were impressive against Belgium (Italy won 2-0). They are going to be a tough challenge for us, but we are looking forward to it."

SOUNDBITE (Swedish): Erik Hamren, Sweden coach:

"We need to focus on doing well, and be hungry. It's not always going to go the way you think, we are not happy with our performance in the opening game where we drew 1-1 with Republic of Ireland. The first 50 minutes we did not reach the standards that we should have. Obviously we are not happy with that."
