Low talks Hummels fitness & returning to Paris
2016-06-16 07:00:00 from:SNTVGerman head coach Joachim Loew said he won't risk defender Mats Hummels against Poland if he isn't feeling 100% fit as the world champions return to the Stade de France for the first time since being there for November's attacks in Paris.
"We're not running any risk with Hummels. If he doesn't feel 100 per cent fit or if there are any problems I won't run a risk in the second game of such a tournament. Up to now he's told me that he felt quite well and he's been coping so that's fortunate for me over the last few days. We'll have to await the final training session."
"I came on the bus and of course I thought about it and remembered some things, but it hasn't been an issue. Nobody felt unsafe. Due to us concentrating and focusing on tomorrow's game I don't think it's necessary to address this issue at the moment. I feel safe and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game."
