Slovakia prepared in Lille on Tuesday (14th June) for their second game of Euro 2016, against Russia.

(asked if he agrees with Russia coach Leonid Slutsky that Slovakia are favourites to win the match)
"Well to be honest I don't know how they meant it, but of course, with the arrival of Leonid Slutsky the performances of the Russian team have improved. They have achieved very good results recently and we are a team that have been quite consistent. Of course there are matches like against Wales where we've lost. It was an unnecessary defeat, but life goes on. I would wish for Russia to be right when calling us favourites because usually the favourite wins. So if that is confirmed I would be very happy."

"Well I think for us it is a very important match We are here for the first time at such a tournament (European Championship) and as the coach said, we have an experienced team. We have put behind the defeat against Wales. There are still six points to play for. We have a tough opponent playing against us and I think looking at the set up of our team, I think if we give everything on the pitch there is a great chance to succeed. I'm sure everyone will give everything on the pitch."
