Russia striker Artem Dzyuba insisted on Tuesday (14th June) the team will not want to be disqualified from Euro 2016 because of the behaviour of the country's fans.

SOUNDBITE: (Russian) Leonid Slutsky, Russia coach:

"We do not know what happened on the streets (of Marseille) of course, but when the Russian national anthem played before the game there was England supporters shouting and this was not ethical at all, and all the gestures that we received when we were in our team bus on the way to the stadium from all the England supporters.... well, let's just say that supporters from all over the world are more or less the same. There are some people that come to the stadium to watch a game and support us and there are some people that come to do some bad things and try to behave as badly as possible."

SOUNDBITE (Russian): Artem Dzyuba, Russia striker

"We don't want to be disqualified from Euro 2016 because of these kinds of situations. We do understand that things can happen, but these flares, I don't think it's a good thing to use. It's the twentieth century. There was a fine and there is a suspended penalty, so our supporters have to focus on just supporting us and we will try to show our best qualities in order to play in this competition. We want to play in this competition, we are very happy to be here and it would be a disappointment for the whole country if we go out."
