France's minister of sport speaks about Marseille violence

Riot police threw tear gas canisters at soccer fans at Marseille's Old Port ahead of England's match against Russia at the European Championship.
France's minister of sport Patrick Kanner said "it can not overshadow the party" after visiting a fan zone in Marseille.

"What happened is very unfortunate and damaging, but it can not overshadow the party. The party is here in the fan zone and in the stadium. Our national police and the local police of Marseille are working very well together.
Regional police chief Laurent Nunez had told French media that five people have been wounded and six people arrested during fighting.
