England fans have been embroiled in fresh clashes with police and rival supporters in Marseille ahead of the team's opening match of Euro 2016.
The latest violence follows two nights of trouble in the coastal city when police used tear gas to control crowds.
Fans were seen hurling bottles at police in Marseille on Saturday afternoon, while officers responded by firing tear gas to disperse the crowds.
There was sporadic violence between fans, local youths and police during the the two days in the run up to the match between England and Russia.
The match kicks off at Stade Velodrome at 2100 local time, in one of five games in Euro 2016 labelled 'high risk' for fan trouble by French authorities.
French police have offered to escort England fans to the match for their own safety.
The scenes of street battles from Marseille over the past 48 hours have evoked unhappy memories of England hooliganism in the port city at the 1998 World Cup.
