England trained in Chantilly on Friday (10th June) ahead of their Euro 2016 opener against Russia.

England continued their training today ahead of their Europe 2016 opener against Russia in Marseille on Saturday.

England have never won their first game at a European Championship, something that Roy Hodgson will no doubt be hoping to change.

Spirits appeared high throughout the squad and there was good news for Ryan Bertrand as he took part in full training.

The left-back had been nursing an injury during the week but now appears to be available for selection.

Following the Russia game England will then meet Wales on the 15th June before facing Slovakia in Saint-Etienne on the 19th June.
