Italy coach Antonio Conte held his first press conference on Thursday after the Azzurri arrived in France to start their Euro 2016 campaign.

"We have to be focused and honest with ourselves, get the most that we can through our hard work, without thinking if the enthusiasm around us is going up or down, with those who love us and those who don't love us that much. Let's think about ourselves, let's keep our head down and carry on working, as i've always said. We don't have to care about who is next to us, we have to care about who is in front of us, and hopefully try to catch them."

"There's not much more to say about my choice for the squad, it's only a matter of seeing who's in better shape, who I see is in a better condition. There's nothing to clarify, I picked 23 players, I have great confidence in them, no matter who plays. I know what they can give me, and there's nothing else to say, we have three matches ahead of us, and everybody will play. I picked these 23 because I know that they will all play."
