Joe Hart on Thursday said that he and the rest of the squad were hoping to enjoy the Euro 2016 experience ahead of their Group B opener against Russia this weekend.

(asked if he's enjoying being in France):

"I think you've got to enjoy it. At heart I'm a kid who loves football, well I'm not a kid anymore, I'm slightly grown man. But I love football. I'd be watching it as a huge England fan if I wasn't involved. I've got one of those lucky spots where I might even be representing my country on Saturday (11th June) in a European tournament. So I'm going to enjoy it."

(asked if England's team is an unknown quantity):

"I think it would be naive if we thought that. It's impossible to be an unknown quantity at such a high level, at such a big tournament. Maybe so much as playing a set amount of games, we certainly don't turn the same eleven out every time we play an international game. That's been quite similar with England teams with injuries and a wide selection of players in form. The important thing is that we're not unknown to each other. We feel good as a squad as a 23 and we're ready to go."

(asked about the Russia game):

"We're going to look to win every game, it's no different. Russia is ultimately the most important game to us right now and it's all that matters. We want to get off to a winning start. Obviously we want to play some good football and we want to progress in this tournament."

"Of course I do. I fully believe in the guys we've got. We're going to attack as a team and defend as a team. We work hard. We're well regimented and we're ready."
