The Italian team arrived in Montpellier on Wednesday night to begin their final preparations for Euro 2016.
The Azzurri face Belgium in their first match of the tournament on the 13th of June.
Considered to be in one of the toughest groups, Antonio Conte's side will then play Sweden and Ireland.
Gianluigi Buffon will once again be between the posts for Italy since becoming the first-choice goalkeeper during qualifying for the 2002 World Cup, going on to play in three straight European Championships and four consecutive World Cups.
The Juventus and Italy captain turned 38 in January.
Buffon will be aided by a defence which includes three of his Juventus teammates: Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
Eight of the 23 man squad have never played in a major tournament. The only other World Cup winner is Daniele De Rossi.
Conte has elected to take five forwards to the tournament in France: with Brazilian-born Eder and Graziano Pelle as the likely starters.
He'll be looking for a perfect send-off at the Euros as he takes over at Chelsea after the tournament.
His successor will be former Torino coach Giampiero Ventura.
