France implementing unprecedented security measures
2016-06-08 15:32:00 from:SNTVFrench senator Philippe Bas said on Tuesday (7th June) that French authorities have taken all the necessary security measures ahead of Euro 2016.
Security in French football stadiums will be greatly increased during Euro 2016.
This includes the Stade de France in Paris that was attacked by suicide bombers on the 13th November last year.
An unprecedented 90,000 police, soldiers, private guards and other security personnel will be involved, according to the French government.
Touring the Stade de France on Tuesday to check the security measures that will be implemented there, French senator Philippe Bas was clear regarding the issue.

"Both the French government and the French parliament have taken measures to get a very high level of safety during Euro 2016."
A state of emergency is still in force in France after extremist attacks killed 130 people in Paris last November.
Paris is one of nine host cities for Euro 2016 and the Stade de France will stage the opening game of the tournament - between France and Romania as well as the final of the competition.
