SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Jordi Alba, Spain defender and midfielder: (asked which teams he considered as rivals to beat)
"Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia are our rivals now. We first need to focus on these teams, which, in my opinion, are very difficult to play. I think we've got the most difficult qualifying group. I hope we can pass this phase and we'll see afterwards what we find."
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Jordi Alba, Spain defender and midfielder:
"I respect everyone's opinion about us being favourite. I don't have any promises. But depending on how the competition goes, I can do almost anything, I'm not afraid of anything. I already shaved my head when we won the Champions League so you can make suggestions about what should I do and I will then decide what I like most."
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Jordi Alba, Spain defender and midfielder: (asked about the difference between the 2014 World Cup and this tournament)
"They are both different tournaments. It's true we didn't reach the level people and even ourselves expected in Brazil. There were many causes. We need to forget about that. A long time has passed. And we need to focus on this Euro 2016, which is going to be totally different. We have new people, who are very eager, and we seniors are also as eager as the first day. So we have a completely different mentality now. At the end of the day, you need to focus on the positive, and not on mistakes."
