Players prepared for any formation - Kane
2016-06-04 11:50:00 from:SNTVReaction from Harry Kane following England's 1-0 win over Portugal at Wembley on Thursday (2nd June).
SOUNDBITE: (English), Harry Kane, England forward (asked about playing in a front three with Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy):
"It's something we've got to learn and get better at. We've been doing quite a bit of work in training on it. I think in a major tournament you have to be prepared to change formations now and again and try different things and that's what we've done in the friendlies, we've tried different systems so of course the manager will pick the team and the formation that he wants in the first game against Russia and we'll be ready to play it."
SOUNDBITE: (English), Harry Kane, England forward (on being kicked in the head):
Question: "Are you ok after being kicked in the head?"
Kane: "Head's all good. I think I got away with one. I was a bit lucky that it wasn't the studs that caught me but yeah, I'm alright, I'm alright."
