Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter arrived at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne on Friday (29th April) to be a witness as UEFA President Michel Platini started his appeal against his six-year FIFA ban.

The disgraced former FIFA president has been called upon to give evidence in Michel Platini's appeal against his six-year ban from football.

Blatter gave a brief statement as he entered the court.

"I am here as a witness. I have been asked to be a witness of FIFA and I answered, 'Yes, I will be a witness'. So, there will be questions to me and I will answer these questions and then the panel will take a decision. Thank you." (Blatter walks inside building)
