Milner captain & Sturridge starting - Hodgson
2016-03-29 10:24:00 from:SNTVEngland manager Roy Hodgson and midfielder James Milner spoke on Monday (28th March), on the eve of the international friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Roy Hodgson, England manager:
"There will be changes, some changes, how wholesale those changes will be you will have to wait and see. As you can see James (Milner) is with me and he will captain the team tomorrow, he didn't play against Germany so there is one obvious change. Daniel Sturridge will come into the team, we are pleased to welcome him back after his long layoff from England duty. The other changes we will have to wait and see and I prefer not to dwell on these types of things."
SOUNDBITE: (English) James Milner, England midfielder and captain versus the Netherlands:
"Yes, definitely, I think that everybody got back on to the job straight away. It was a good performance, a very good performance and one that we can take a lot of belief and confidence from but it's important that we build on it, not to many games between now and the start of the Euros and it would be nice to go into them with momentum and confidence - and it's important that we follow it up tomorrow night and keep that momentum going."
