2015-11-16 10:44:00 from:SNTVThe Republic of Ireland on Sunday (15 November) trained and talked about the second leg of their Euro 2016 play-off against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
SOUNDBITE (English) Martin O'Neill, Republic of Ireland manager:(about security after the attacks in Paris)
"No. I don't feel uneasy about the game. I think it was horrendous, the events in Paris. Obviously it puts a lot of things into perspective, including football matches. But no, I didn't think that it was necessarily the case (suspending the match). Obviously we hope that the stadium is well policed. I hoping we will be okay. I haven't thought about that and I think it was more the thought about the events in Paris itself."
SOUNDBITE (English) Martin O'Neill, Republic of Ireland manager:(about Ireland's approach to the game):
"I think we have to try and win the game. I think has to be our mindset, to win the game. I think Bosnia are capable of scoring. I think any team is capable of getting a goal at some stage or another, but Bosnia in particular. And I think if we set out with any other mindset then things couldn't work out for you."
SOUNDBITE (English) Martin O'Neill, Republic of Ireland manager:(about the crowd):
"The crowd were terrific against Germany. But I also thought that they've been excellent the whole way. Particularly in the German game. I think they sensed the importance of events taking place right from the start. They knew how good Germany were and I suppose we had backs to the wall for periods of that game and they stayed very, very strong and kept us going. I think that we probably going need that again tomorrow (Monday) night."
