Reaction after Robert Lewandowski's goal deep into added time saw Poland draw 2-2 with Scotland in Glasgow on Thursday night (8th October), ending their hosts' chances of qualifying for the finals of Euro 2016.

Script: SOUNDBITE (English) Gordon Strachan, Scotland head coach (on how he feels about the result):

"If I'm like the rest of the nation I'm hugely disappointed for the players. If I'm like the rest of the nation then the nation has seen a group of lads that have seen as much as they can give. That's what I see at the moment. I actually feel a bit sorry for them to put that much work in to score two wonderful goals, so that's what I see at the moment. I spoke to them and am really proud of what they've done and they've been a bit unfortunate with a couple things over the last couple games."

SOUNDBITE (English) Gordon Strachan, Scotland head coach (on having their qualifying hopes end so cruelly):

"After working hard for a year and at the end of the year something like that happens in the last second of a game, that's over a year's work. To put that much work in and the deflection against Germany as well. I can't remember us getting anything lucky ourselves. Everything we've earned has had to be really earned."

SOUNDBITE (English) Gordon Strachan, Scotland head coach (on his future with Scotland):

"There are guys in there hurting and for me to talk about myself is wrong. They are the priority at the moment them guys in there and my coaching staff. To talk about me is all wrong. I'll leave that up to the other people."
