SOUNDBITE: (English) Roy Hodgson, England coach:(about playing Switzerland)
"I think what gives it extra was the fact that after the World Cup and the draw was made for the Euros that Switzerland were the top seeds in the group. I think they were five or six in the rankings at the time and we were way, way below that. I think that in itself gave the first game, and this game also, some added spice. Obviously with them also basically qualified, it is going to be the two teams that will quite possibly meet up again in France. This is an early tester if you like in relation to that. So, we take the game very seriously. We would dearly love to put on a very good performance at Wembley tomorrow night and we would dearly love to win the game however much I personally appreciate Switzerland as a football team and as a nation."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Roy Hodgson, England coach:(about the England scoring record)
"It's going to happen. For Wayne's sake I guess, and you can ask him, it's no doubt the sooner the better. I can afford to be patient, but I'd like it to happen tomorrow night, because then we could have a few press conferences where Wayne's able to talk about other things, other than the pressure he feels under to score the 50th goal."
