SOUNDBITE (English) Martin O'Neill, Republic of Ireland coach:
"Gibraltar allowed to get control of the game. Robbie (Keane) scored a hattrick in 16 (or) 17 minutes. And it gave us a great, great start. So from then on in, we were fine and pretty comfortable. I don't think Germany are going to allow us the same sort of space to play in. We are obviously going to encounter many different problems during the course of the game. The Germans are world champions. And they have the habit of qualifying for competitions."
SOUNDBITE (English) Robbie Keane, Republic of Ireland captain:
"These games you to go and enjoy it. If you see the stadium there it is absolutely fantastic. These are games that any player wants to be involved in. You are playing against one of the best teams in the world and go out and enjoy it. And as long as you know where your job is at and stick to that. Go out and give it a go because we are playing against the World Cup champions. We have got players in this squad who are very comfortable in what they are doing at club level. And they can bring it onto the international stage. No question. The last two games got some great results. We are feeling confident that we can get something out of the game. It's going to be difficult. There's no question about that. We know that. But we have a lot of confidence at the moment."
