"Well, obviously it turns out that he can't play we will be disappointed and it will be a big loss for us but it's nothing we can worry too much about at the moment. We just have to focus on the game and whoever is fit enough to be involved will have to do the business tomorrow.

Q: Have you seen much of the Russian team play? Some of the Swedes now play in Russia. Do you have much knowledge about the players?

A: "Yes, I think we have got as much as we need. Obviously we don't see them week in and week out as you might do if they were to play in England, Italy, France or those kind of leagues. Most of them are obviously over in Russia and you don't seem to see those club games as much but we've our ideas, our scouts have done their homework and I think we know what we need to know."

Q: What about your own form coming into this game? You've had a good start to the season.

A: "Yes, it feels ok you know.Obviously with the latest win we (Sunderland) had it made it into an ok start to the season and, personally, I've been on the pitch most of the time and I feel fit and ready to go."
