Italy manager Antonio Conte on Monday warned that Norway were "clearly a dangerous team" ahead of their their opening UEFA 2016 European Championship Group H qualifier on Tuesday.

"They are a difficult team under all points of view, we saw that in their last match against England, but also in previous matches. They began with two forwards playing close to each other, but with England they decided to increase the presence in the midfield and they are a very compact team, very careful in defence. Aside from the penalty, against England they had good chances to win at Wembley, so they're clearly a dangerous team. In Europe and around the world you have to have a great respect for everybody, we saw that also with yesterdays results, which should be a wake-up call for anybody. There's nothing easy, we are not expecting anything easy, because Norway are a good team, with good elements and good organisation, they will show grit, intensity and will to win with their counterattack and what not, so we'll have to be really careful."
