SOUNDBITE: (German) Joachim Low, Germany coach:
"I think in the first half Germany had absolute control of the game. We pressed Scotland high in their half. There were almost no chances against us and we ourselves, of course, had chances to score a few more goals. Then in the middle of the second half we lost control of the game a bit, we missed some chances and then Scotland came at us a bit more. We didn't play in a well organised way at the time -- unlike in the first half. The Germany players were too far away from each other on the pitch and Scotland managed to create chances and equalise. But then Germany reacted immediately to the 1-1 scoreline and found the winning goal. So I am satisfied with the three points in a situation like this, which is quite difficult in a way because we saw, particularly in the second half, that some players are not quite as sharp as they usually would be."
