Poland will face the newest member of UEFA when they play Gibraltar in their opening UERO 2016 qualifier on Sunday (September 7).

A force in international football during the 1970s and 80s, Poland have declined in recent years, although they have participated in the last two European Championships.
Back in 2012 in fact, Poland were co-hosts along with Ukraine, but failed to impress.
Now, they find themselves in a group with Germany, and are likely to be battling it out with the Republic of Ireland and Scotland for second place.
They will have the chance to get off to a perfect start in their campaign to reach Euro 2016 as they face the newest member of UEFA in Gibraltar.
In fact, the game with Poland will be Gibraltar's first ever competitive football match
Poland will be looking to Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski to lead the way in their match.
Gibraltar meanwhile will be hoping that the enormity of the occasion doesn't have a negative effect on its inexperienced group of players.
