Germany coach Joachim Loew says Sami Khedira will miss their semi-final against France as the squad trained on Monday (July 4th) two days after their penalty shoot-out win over Italy.

"The game against Italy during 120 minutes left unfortunately some injuries in our squad. We've got some players injured. Mario Gomez is now out of the tournament, he's not able to play anymore. Sami Khedira will not play this Thursday against France, we will do our best for him to be able to play next Sunday in final if we get qualified. (Bastian) Schweinsteiger is injured, he took a hit on his right knee. We did some medical tests yesterday for these three players and we're waiting for results. (Mario) Gomez will not play anymore in this Euro, (Sami) Khedira will not play Thursday. Schweinsteiger needs to wait a bit to know, (Mats) Hummels is suspended after his yellow card. It's now clear for us, we need to make some adjustments on Thursday."
