France train following their 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland that set up a quarter final meeting with either England or Iceland

The French team looked in a relaxed mood as they trained at Clairefontaine less than twenty four hours after booking their place in the quarter finals of Euro 2016.

It was a hard fought qualification against the Republic of Ireland, with two second-half goals from Antoine Griezmann helping them to come from behind and seal a 2-1 victory.

France now have plenty of time to prepare as their quarter-final won't be until Sunday evening.

Their last eight clash with the winner of the game between England and Iceland will see the French side return to the capital.

The Stade de France in Paris which will be the venue of the final, will host the match.

While spirits are certainly high in the French camp, Deschamps will be sure his side continue to work hard and improve as they have been far from perfect in the competition.
