2016-06-27 08:30:00 from:SNTV

Spain head coach Vicente del Bosque said on Sunday (26th June) his side will face "the true Italy" and not the exhausted side they defeated 4-0 in the Euro 2012 final.

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Vicente del Bosque, Spain head coach:(On playing Italy who they defeated in the Euro 2012 final 4-0)

"I believe that it's a game that was affected by a lot of outside things. Above all, Italy were physically very tired when they got to the final in 2012. So they weren't the real Italy, the Italy that they are now. I think they will be better off than they were in the final."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Vicente del Bosque, Spain head coach:(On what Spain must do to win)

"The most important thing is that we are ourselves in every sense. We have to be careful of them and be aware of what they can do. It's going to be a very open game. We want to continue in these Euros with the goal of making it to the final."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Vicente del Bosque, Spain head coach:(On playing against the Italian back-three which is a system that has troubled them)

"I believe the most important thing is that everyone is careful and knows what they are doing. When we played against Italy they played like this and we know it perfectly. We know we've had problems with similar systems, but I think tomorrow hopefully we play our own game and don't worry about them."

SOUNDBITE: (Italian) Alvaro Morata, Spain attacker:(On the complements his former Juventus team-mates have said about him)

"What my team-mates from last season have said makes me really happy. I will always be grateful for everything they've done for me to help me become a better player. They helped me settle in Torino. I'm very sorry for the people who are sad I have left, but football is like that. I just have to look to the future."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Cesc Fabregas, Spain midfielder:(On playing against an Italian side that defends well)

"Italy play with defensive tactics that are very difficult to counter. We know they will have a defensive level that will be something different for us, but we have different things we can do. No one plays like us, no one plays in our style, our way of playing. We'll have to see what happens tomorrow, but there are some things we can do."
