French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet held a news conference at France's training camp in Clairefontaine on Wednesday (22nd June) - ahead of the last 16 match on Sunday.

"The objective is the same - we have to go step by step. We have a match very important in Lyon (in the Last 16). We must not calculate who will be in Le Stade de France, but I consider we are close to these European teams and the objective that I told you six months ago stays the same. For me we have our place in the last square (finals) but we have to succeed."

"Didier Deschamps wants to win. He changed … at the first match he started with 4-3-3 (formation) and finished with 4-2-3-1. Then he started with 4-2-3-1 and finished with 4-3-3. He won twice. I do not see how we can reproach him. We have to adapt every time to the opponent, to the players available. He is a good technician. I feel good about the game. If he feels he has to change he does it. He did twice during the match and you know him, it is not so easy because he has been a supporter of 4-3-3 for a long time. But when he feels he has to change, he does it. So I think for the next match he is going to prepare for it seriously. And I am sure technically he will be very strong."
