Croatia trained at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux on Monday (20th June) ahead of their final Group D game against Spain.

Croatia trained in Bordeaux on Monday ahead of their final Group D match against the defending European champions Spain.

Spain have maximum points from their opening two games and are already assured of a place in the Round of 16.

Croatia need a point to secure second place in the group, but would finish up group winners with a victory.

The side were 2-0 up and cruising in their last match against the Czech Republic and they looked all but qualified for the next round, but somehow their opponenents came back into the game to secure a draw- in a match marred by crowd trouble.

Croatia head coach Ante Cacic responded to claims that some fans may come to the game with Spain to cause trouble:

SOUNDBITE: (Croatian) Ante Cacic, Croatia head coach (on problems with supporters and what they expect will happen with the fans during the Spain game)

"Yes, there has been some news about the supporters and that they may and try and stop the match. As a team we must ally ourselves against it. We must counteract this behaviour with our performance on the pitch. Even after the last incident and the problems all is calm with Croatia. No one can threaten us (as a team). We are fighting for our reputation now. I hope for some nice, calm moments in this city. Everyone is supporting us well we hope and there are to be no more problems."

Uefa has fined Croatia 100,000 euros for the crowd distrubances in their last game.
