Albania secured their first ever major tournament victory - and kept their hopes of reaching the last 16 of Euro 2016 alive - with a 1-0 win over Romania on Sunday (19th June).

SOUNDBITE: (Romanian) Anghel Iordanescu, Romania manager.

"I recognise you as a journalist who always destroys the image of football. I'm not sure that you have done anything constructive with your life. As far as the football in concerned, in my opinion, well to be honest a loss is a loss and we're really sorry for what we did today. We had many opportunities to score, we started the match quite well, we controlled the game. Because of a mistake in our defence, we conceded a goal. In the second half, we tried to impose our style of play and to take possesesion of the ball. Unfortunately we didn't manage to score. Perhaps if we could have scored the game would have been different. As far as your question is concerned if this is the shame of the century for Romanian football, let the Romanian press judge me."
