Coleman talks Russia & fan safety

2016-06-20 06:34:00 from:SNTV

Wales on Sunday (19th June) trained and Chris Coleman talked about meeting Russia in their final Group B game on Monday (20th June)

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Coleman, Wales coach:

"If the opposition has any problems, you know that's up to them. We concentrate on ourselves, we know that this is a game that they need to win, so we're expecting a very, very tough game of course. And to be fair to Russia, they played England, they got a good point against England, they lost to Slovakia, we've played with Slovakia, Slovakia are a very, very good team. So I think maybe the Russians are being criticised, but we have to look at the opposition they've played against. The two teams they've played against are good teams."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Coleman, Wales coach:

"Come to support us, enjoy the game, enjoy the atmosphere. I think you saw against England there were a few English fans in with the Welsh supporters, and the English fans were saying how well the Welsh supporters were behaved, how much they welcomed the English fans and that were sat next to them, how much they enjoyed the game together. Listen, everybody wants to win, we all want to do well. Sometimes there's losers. So on the day it was us. And like I said, any animosity or things like that, that remains on the pitch."
