Portugal's head coach Fernando Santos on Sunday (19th June) reflected on Cristiano Ronaldo's performance against Austria in which the Real Madrid star missed a penalty.

"It is normal that a player like Cristiano Ronaldo, who did not manage to score, is a little bit sad. He is used to often standing out. He is a champion. But, Ronaldo's big strength is that he knows how to bounce back. He reacts with strength when faced with adversity. He's already done it this year and returned better, even for his club, Real Madrid. It is what we expect from Ronaldo and he will score a goal in the next match."
