Russia continued their preparations for their final Group B game against Wales with a training session at the Parc Omnisport de Croissy in Paris on Friday (17th June).

Russia were back in full training on Friday ahead of their crucial clash with Wales at Euro 2016.

The Russian's place in the tournament is hanging by a thread, following their 2-1 defeat to Slovakia on Monday to leave them bottom of Group B.

Leonid Slutsky's side have one point, gained against England in their opening match, and need a win over Wales to have any chance of staying at Euro 2016.

Despite the pressure Russian forward Aleksandr Kokorin remains confident his nation can survive.

SOUNDBITE: (Russian) Aleksandr Kokorin, Russia striker (asked if the team are more confident of beating Wales after the latter lost to England):

"Of course we are very confident that we can beat Wales, but it is very important this confidence doesn't turn into arrogance. We are training very professionally and I would like to say that this is a very important and significant game for us."

Russia's fate will be decided in Toulouse on Monday.
