Wales prepared on Wednesday (15th June) for a Group B meeting with England knowing a victory would seal their place in the last 16 at Euro 2016.

"I said before the ball in this tournament, everybody looked at this game, Wales v England, everybody looked at this from, if you're from Wales or if you're from England. Battle of Britain, blah, blah, blah. It's only another game for us. The big thing for us is, getting through. Wasn't about beating England and not getting through. Wasn't about that, not for me, not for us, not for the players. It's about we're here, we're in a tournament, we've got a chance to do something a bit special. We're in a good position. England are next, they're in our way and we've got to make sure we take care of business, like I said."

"It was always going to turn into this: 'He said this, she said that'. Irrelevant really, 'cause when the whistle goes tomorrow we'll see, who's ready, who's not, and whoever comes out after the 90 minutes.... all the talk beforehand.... blah, blah, blah, to me. I don't, I've said before, I don't, I'm not into all the mind games and, trying to say this to upset this one or.... let's just get down to business."
