2016-06-16 06:17:00 from:SNTV

On Tuesday (14th June), England players said they were confident UEFA's reaction to last week's crowd trouble against Russia would keep their family, friends and other English fans safe throughout the rest of Euro 2016.

SOUNDBITE (English) Adam Lallana, England attacker:

(On the prospect of England getting kicked out of the Euros if fan trouble continues)

"It would be devastating. Our message is for everybody to be safe and sensible. By all means enjoy their day, enjoy their match, be respectful that we are out there playing for our country. So for everyone to be safe and sensible is the message."

SOUNDBITE (English) Adam Lallana, England attacker:

(On the Russian players charging England fans after their game)

"A little bit has been discussed. I didn't see it. I heard what Joe (Hart) saw. I was in getting a drug test. It's not nice to see. We've just got to hope the security is there and trust everyone to do their job."

SOUNDBITE (English) Ryan Bertrand, England defender:

(On UEFA's punishment of Russia over crowd trouble)

"I think there was some news that UEFA has reacted to what has happened and the players are fully confident that the security staff in charge and the personnel around will fully control the situation and the families will be safe."

SOUNDBITE (English) Adam Lallana, England attacker:

(On playing Wales)

"Of course it would be nice to beat Wales and yes people are saying that everyone wants to gain that English scalp. But that's not just Wales I think that's more or less every other country. They play England, they probably want to up their game, want to beat us and we thrive off that. It makes us that bit more hungry to do well and win the match."
