Football fans in Paris observed a minute of silence on Monday (13th June) in memory of the Orlando shooting victims.
Following the holding of a minute's silence at a Euro 2016 "FanZone" in Paris on Monday (13th June), the iconic Eiffel Tower was illuminated in honour of the victims of the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub in the United States.

Following the tragic events in Orlando this weekend when 49 people were killed in a nightclub, Paris showed its respects.

Paris City Hall began paying respects in the afternoon with a display of American and rainbow flags, while French President Francois Hollande condemned the mass killing as an attack on freedom.

France feels deeply the horror of deadly attacks after the November attacks on a music hall, restaurants and bars and the main sports stadium killed 130.
