Poland held their first training session on French soil on Tuesday (7th June), stepping up preparations for Euro 2016.

SOUNDBITE: (Polish) Adam Nawalka, Poland head coach

(on midfielder Kamil Grosicki's injury during friendly match against Lithuania):

"We've just heard the report on his health. We are very calm. We'll see if Kamil is ready before the match against Northern Ireland. We still have quite a few days for the treatment. We'll see how he reacts to that. We know that Kamil is a fighter and he heals very quickly, he's very strong. So we are optimistic."

SOUNDBITE: (Polish) Robert Lewandowski, Poland captain

(on the match against Northern Ireland and being in Group C):

"We know it's going to be difficult, the first game and the following ones. Each of these games will be different. This is a tough group. We're fully aware that we must give as much we can, give the best that we can. I think that having a good start with the match against Northern Ireland would make it easier. But Northern Ireland is a good team. They didn't lose recently, didn't concede many goals."

SOUNDBITE: (Polish) Robert Lewandowski, Poland captain

(on the match against Northern Ireland):

"It will be a test for us. That will show that we are a team that can play good games, our best games even in slightly more difficult situations. So we're looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere, the excitement, the adrenaline of the Euro tournament and of everything that is ahead of us."
