Ukraine arrive in Aix-en-Provence ahead of Euro 2016

As the competition nears its start date, teams continue to arrive in France ahead of Euro 2016.

The latest being Croatia, Poland and the Ukraine.

Croatia are staying in the Hotel Barriere, a picturesque golf resort located in Deauville near the English channel.

Upon arrival, the team were welcomed with a large bottle of wine from the region, although Ante Cacic's men will have to wait to taste the local drop.

A tough group awaits them with defending champions Spain, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

Meanwhile, Poland arrived in the resort town of La Baule, located around 80km west of Nantes.

Staying at L'Hermitage, Poland will be hoping to improve on their two previous outings at the European Championships.

The Polish side was eliminated at the group stage in both 2008 and 2012 and will be looking to finally get over the hump in France.

Poland inflicted a first loss in 19 matches on Germany during qualifying and have been drawn alongside them yet again in the group stages.

Joining them are also Northern Ireland and the Ukraine.

They too have arrived in France but have opted to stay further south.

The Ukraine have up their base at the Renaissance Hotel in Aix-en-Provence, a beautiful little town located 30km north of Marseille.

It will be the second appearance at the European Championships for the Ukraine, having co-hosted the tournament with Poland four years ago.

Coincidentally they will face their former co-hosts in the group stage in France but will open their campaign against Germany in Lille on June 12th.
