2014-11-15 13:59:00 from:SNTV

Intro:

England manager Roy Hodgson put his squad through their paces for a final training session on the eve of Saturday's Euro 2016 Group E qualifier against Slovenia.

Script:

Captain Wayne Rooney will earn his hundredth cap when he takes to the field for England's European qualifier against Slovenia.

The 29-year-old will be only the ninth player to reach triple figures for the Three Lions.

Roy Hodgson's men have taken control of Group E despite their disappointing exit at the World Cup.

With three wins from three going into their tie against Slovenia, they'll be boosted by the return of a fully fit Raheem Sterling.

Arsenal's Theo Walcott and Everton's Ross Barkley are also back in the squad.

Leighton Baines is a late withdrawal and is expected to also miss the Scotland game.

An injury in training today means he'll join Michael Carrick and Andros Townsend on the sidelines.

With Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge also still recovering from a calf problem, Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck is expected to hold on to his place alongside Rooney up front.
