The team spoke on Saturday during their preparations for the game against Luxembourg,

Del Bosque did not state whether Seleccion veteran Iker Casillas would be included in the selection for the game against Luxembourg, after the captain came under fire from the press and fans.

SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Cesc Fabregas, Spain midfielder:

"We know what kind of a figure Iker Casillas is and there is not much else to say. Everyone who is in the Madrid press and from the national team knows that better than anyone. I know him personally,. He is a strong person. he gives 150% to his profession He is a friend, he is a great team mate and a great captain and I think I have said everything that needs to be said, especially when things don't turn out as well for you as they normally do.
