Chris Coleman issued a rallying cry to his Welsh squad on Thursday (9th October) - and backed his team to handle the pressure and high expectation levels on the eve of Wales' first home Euro 2016 qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Cardiff.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Coleman, Wales manager (asked if there is any pressure ahead of the Bosnia game, Wales' first home fixture of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign):

"It comes down to heart. Can you perform when the spotlight is on you and the pressure's on? Can you perform? Who is prepared to step forward and accept that, knowing that if they make a mistake the consequences could be big? I'd much rather lose a fight walking forward throwing punches back than on my hands and knees crawling away getting kicked up the backside. We're in it. The pressure is on. The pressure is on to do well but let's accept that and get on with it on Friday night. It's a great game, big crowd, playing against a very good team. Those are the facts. Can we deal with it? I think we can deal with it, I believe we can deal with it."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Chris Coleman, Wales manager (on Gareth Bale):

"He's just one of the best players in the world. He can score a goal out of nothing or create a goal out of nothing. I think I've said before that if you've got someone with that ability, it's not just what he gives to your own players and your own unit, it's what he does to the opposition. When the opposition know walking onto the pitch that they're up against someone like that, psychologically it is fantastic. It's a huge boost for us."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ashley Williams, Wales captain (on playing in front of an estimated 25,000 people at Cardiff City Stadium):

"It will be brilliant, I've never played for Wales in a full house before so I'm really looking forward to that. When you've got a lot of noise behind you sometimes it just gives you that five per cent when you're tired and they're driving you on to keep going. I really can't wait to walk out of the tunnel tomorrow and see all our fans in there."
