Intro:

Spain held a training session on Tuesday (October 7) for their Euro 2016 qualifier in Slovakia on Thursday (October 9).

Script:

Spain trained on Tuesday in preparation for their Euro 2016 qualifiers in a week, against Slovakia and Luxembourg.

The team will travel to Slovakia on Thursday and then will travel to Luxembourg to play on the 12th October

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque insisted Diego Costa will not be risked if they have any doubts about the Chelsea striker's fitness despite calling him up to the squad.

As well as Costa, del Bosque has recalled Gerard Pique and included uncapped duo Rodrigo Moreno and Juan Bernat in his squad.

Forward Rodrigo is on loan at Valencia from Benfica - Bernat is a wing-back with Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.

Both have impressed in the under-21s.

The double reigning European champions thrashed Macedonia 5-1 in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier - their first competitive match since their miserable World Cup defence this summer.

The two matches will be the second and third qualifiers for the Spanish squad.
