Paul Pogba watch: Is the Manchester United target worth £100m after helping France beat Germany?

FRANCE are into the final of Euro 2016 after a 2-0 win over Germany on Thursday night.

Didier Deschamps' team were hugely impressive on the counter-attack, with Antoine Griezmann scoring twice in the win.

Central midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a stunning £100million exit from Juventus this summer – with Jose Mourinho and Manchester United one of his potential destinations.

But is the 23-year-old really worth that much?

TEMPERAMENT

KEPT his cool even when German players were handing out the rough treatment.

Premier League hardmen will target him if he comes to England, but he can deal with it.

Zinedine Zidane was one famous Frenchman to take the bait, but Pog was not rattled.

TEAMWORK

THE midfielder always puts in a shift for his team — even if it means he does not get the glory.
His job in front of the back four was just as important as marauding forward.

He dropped in when the France centre-backs split and they looked to attack with full-backs.

INFLUENCE

HIS ball to put Olivier Giroud through early in the second half showed what he was capable of — it was a shame the Arsenal striker could not control it!

Then Pog set up Antoine Griezmann's second goal with a shimmy that left Shkodran Mustafi chasing shadows.

GOAL THREAT

HIT a long-range free-kick just before the interval — but it did not trouble Manuel Neuer.

Pogba is just as happy setting up his team-mates — as he proved with his trickery and cross for Griezmann's second.

He has a goal in him — but there is more to his game.

VERDICT

THE scary thought for Portugal is that there is more to come.

He played with the handbrake on to protect his defence and could be a powerhouse in the final — and possibly also for Manchester United next season.

Pogba really looks the part.
